Unfortunately the next few weeks there will be no possibility for me to paint, for I will be busy moving to another house. So at the moment I am looking for a great place to live. Dreaming of my new house..including a fine atelier to paint..makes me sleep very well !

My holidays at Le Moulin, Cuzion, France are still in my mind. It was a great week with wonderful people, inspiring yoga and meditation and my first experience with sculpture! Back home for almost one week now, I am still missing the great atmosphere of harmony, respect, nature and the healing silence. Next year I will be back! For more information: www.sadhaka.nl

June 13th, 2011, another few weeks from holidays @ Sadhaka.nl, looking forward to this adventure @ Le Moulin in France! I still have to finish my new small work, almost ready, but it's going to be a diptych, so I have to keep on painting and I lov it!! this first one is almost finished:

In this wonderfull time of spring I see new chances everywhere! In my personal life, my office work but also in my paintings, I am happy to be who I am, and to go where I want to go, so I celebrate life every day en I have confidence in me!

Only one week to go..Amsterdam, National Day of Art, November 7th. I am very busy preparing for this great day, rather exciting! I am looking forward to meet all other participants, to see their art work and to welcome all visitors at the beautifull Posthoorn Church! 

In this first week of October I started my new big canvas in the Tulip series, it's a commission work, size 120 x 60 cm. Well, after painting my tulip series small sizes I really have to find my way now. The background is finished, so the greatest part just starts! It's quite a challenge again, makes me feel very happy...I will show "the making of Tulips VIII" later in the photobook.

These days I am preparing for the First Antique and Art Fair of Rotterdam, next weekend in Rotterdam. It will be my first participation at an Art Fair, so now I wonder if I have arranged all the things one needs for a fair...Of course my paintings are the most important to take care of! This is a great opportunity to exhibit my new Tulip series of small canvasses, all with the size 20 x 20 cm, and all framed. They will fit perfect all together at the stand! So you all are very welcome at Admiraliteitskade Rotterdam Kralingen on Saturday September 25th, from 10.00 - 17.00 hrs. See you there!

Just added the first small Tulip painting, titled "Tulip morning dew". The picture in the gallery doesn't show the frame. There is a picture of the painting framed too, it's in the photobook. I will put some more pictures with all kinds of subjects in the photobook. Just click on the picture to read my story, otherwise they will speak for themselves!

Just started to get inspired with small paintings, tulips of course, for the Rotterdam Art- and Antique fair at September 26th. This is going to be so great, I am participating with a collegue-painting-friend and I am going to paint all kinds of differents tulips, in small sizes, it is really challenging!
