| So here's the fourth one in my Tulips series small, painted with all my heart, so the title was born just in the easy way! This heart could be the heart from a moonlight tulip, regarding the colors. This small canvas of 20 x 20 cm has a black frame. This is the seventh one in the serie of Tulip paintings. For the first time I dared to paint in some abstract way! The stalks without petals seem to look XXXL on this very long size of canvas. Although these tulips are still to recognise as real tulips I am very proud of this first "Abstract"! |

Never painted such a small one before,24x30 cm canvas. This one is a little present for my mother. I painted it during our family weekend in the hills of the beautiful Ardennen in Belgium, where we celebrated her 80st birthday!
It was fun making it; with that small size even I can finish in 2 days! It was a great weekend and great fun painting this little one! She's very happy with this birthday present. |

Now I can use this one for my first exhibition, the "regionale kunstdag" in Rotterdam at May 9, 2010. Tulips still keep me inspired so maybe I will start number VII one of these days.. |

This painting gave me another experience with colors and light, finally I am satisfied with the result, because I wanted to put the light coming out from the background. Tulips in general are still fascinating me, so I am ready for the next one, number V, looking forward to a new challenge! |

This one I painted with a very large brush, difficult for someone like me, because I am very keen with small, smaller, smallest details. The photo unfortunately is a bit overexposed, probably I am a better painter than a photographer!

Wildlife animals always intrigue me, so do giraffes, aren't they impressive with their enormous height and elegance? |
